Overweight/Overdimension (OWOD) Movement Permits

Per the Illinois Compiled Statutes, the DuPage County Engineer under the Division of Transportation, reviews, approves and issues overweight/overdimension (width, length and/or height) trucking movement permits on its jurisdictional roadways (see link to left for applicable County routes and map).

Some DuPage County routes have bridges with additional weight limit restrictions. See the County's "Road Construction and Alerts" webpage for a listing of the affected routes/bridges. Alternate routes will have to be used to avoid these crossing locations.
