T-2-12 Zoning Text Amendments

On October 4, 2012 the Zoning Board of Appeals recommended to approve the T-2-12 Text Amendments to the DuPage County Zoning Ordinance. The matter was approved by the County Board on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. in the County Board chambers (see voting information below).  The main proposed changes are:

• New Zoning Hearing Officer Program;
• Changes to the General Parking Requirements;
• New Conditional Use program for existing buildings, structures and uses on a property for at least 5 years or more;
• General Text Amendments.

T-2-12 Text Amendments to the DuPage County Zoning Ordinance relative to:

1. Zoning Hearing Officer Program (ZHO); 
2. Parking Requirements for certain residential, commercial and industrial uses; 
3. Placement of certain types of permitted vehicles on residential zoning lots; and 
4. A Conditional Use procedure for existing accessory buildings, structures and uses on a property in access of five (5) years; 
5. General Text Amendments
